What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively with other HR Business Partners and subject matter experts to identify, design and implement consistent initiatives, programs and processes that align with and support business objectives
- Integrate best practices in talent management to lead a top-notch employee experience
- Support business leaders with staff development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives
- Work closely with business leaders as an HR strategic partner and advisor
- Coordinate talent management processes including goal setting, performance management, salary planning, and succession planning with a business unit
- Support management and employees by providing training, coaching and feedback
- Mentor or manage HR staff to include assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing feedback and coaching
- Serve as project manager and subject matter expert for enterprise-wide HR initiatives for systems, processes and policies
- Utilize HR tools to analyze and report on information to support decision making while making recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience as a human resource professional; 5 or more years' experience as an HR manager/business partner supporting an organization or business unit of approximately 300-500 people

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across a wide audience including presenting to large and small groups
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage/support projects and deliver impactful results
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers locally and virtually
- Experience working within a business unit while collaborating and staying consistent with HR peers managing similar portfolios
- Experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Coaching, Workforce Planning and Management, Compensation and/or Project Management
- Strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen skills
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, OFCCP/EEO regulations, and federal contract requirements
- Experience in a defense contracting environment with familiarity adhering to strict government regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience managing HR staff
- Certification as a PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP
- Experience with SuccessFactors and Dayforce
- Data analytic skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at$122,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
