Job Overview

The purpose of the Product Supply Production Scheduler role is to support planning and workflow forecasting, production, purchased products, and distribution of CCCI's full goods for our internal sales system. Priorities are placed on making sure we have the products available to sell and in the right locations while maintaining a low level of inventory across the system. This position is customer-focused and communicates and acts upon internal and external customers in mind and establishes and maintains effective relationships by gaining customer collaboration, trust, and respect. The role must be able to effectively interface across multiple levels of the organization to be successful. Supports innovation execution processes including new SKU launches, product conversions, LTO (limited time offer), and exit strategies, for their perspective functional area. This role also works cross-functionally with Product Supply Planning on project initiatives to support the best business decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages Production Center (PC) locations and coordinates with raw materials and Production Center Managers on production line capacity assessments to include PC available run time opportunities and maximize for any identified production open line time
  • Works directly with warehouse managers on out of stocks (OOS), inventory levels for staffing workflow, and making any necessary production schedule changes
  • Is a seasoned planner and resource to direct teammates
  • Provides cross-functional training support and onboard job shadowing for new hires in a perspective functional area
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in 4 or more direct functional team processes
  • Applies best practices for managing demand product gaps without support coverage to produce and work on a support plan
  • Co-manages new item launch assignments between Demand, Production, and FF teams
  • Leads to resolve any hurdles, and communicate key milestones to management and support the in-market date
  • Provides status updates on new and sensitive item production and reports any production changes and, or risks
  • Contributes to new item launch planning and decisions on open line item opportunities
  • Collaborates with Product Supply Planning Manager on any change of sourcing decisions
  • Serves as an expert in maintaining system settings for assigned customers and, or locations
  • Supports direct teams in resolving complex analysis for root cause and resolutions affecting visibility and processing in multiple systems
  • Supports the development, publishing, and maintenance of user systems and specific functional area process training documentation
  • Supports onboarding larger segments of business and, or new emerging markets and documenting best practices for team utilization
  • Supports new hire onboarding process for system training initiatives

  • Performs robust evaluation of sales forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory management
  • This role coordinates multi-facets of supply planning to support new item SKU launches, strategic collaboration to support sales initiatives, and drives optimal forward deployment planning to support our internal and external partners' execution strategies
  • An active member with Product Supply Planning cross-functional projects and task force initiatives
  • Ability to identify and adapt to company SKU strategy changes, coordinate, and drive efforts within a direct team to support these objectives
  • Required to have a broad understanding of all CCCI Supply chains with the ability to represent the key disciplines to internal and external customers and key CCCI partners

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 2 or more years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Marketing, or other areas of the value chain
  • Experience with Transportation Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Planning Software Systems, Reporting and Business Intelligence
