Job Duties: Associate, Data Analytics with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Execute on Data Analytics strategy within the context of audit responsibilities, such as risk assessment, audit planning, creation of reusable tools and providing innovative solutions to complex problems. Partner with audit teams to identify risks associated with businesses and facilitate strategic data sourcing and develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing. Cultivate data analytics best practices and understandings through communication and trainings sessions with global audit teams. Utilize Python, SQL, and Tableau to develop high quality data analytics reporting and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual audit testing. Grow subject matter expertise in cross-divisional auditable areas, such as Compliance & Legal and Risk audit. Create Continuous Monitoring reporting for quarterly check-ins between auditors and stakeholders. Ensure excellent code quality in production, by performing high-quality and thorough code review and adhering to engineering best practices. Discover and assist in the on-boarding of datasets from across the firm, sourced from multiple cloud or on-prem databases. Provide analysis, design strategies for strategic projects and drive end-to-end project delivery.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with the following: statistics concepts, including descriptive statistics, data distribution models, Time Series Analysis, correlation, and regression, and its application to data; programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++; visualization tools, such as Tableau or Qlik; text analytics and NLP using python; machine learning algorithms and exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning techniques including Linear/Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest and Boosting, Clustering, and Patterns Recognition; utilizing SQL to perform ad-hoc analysis for audit testing, such as determining a population or re-performance; and engineering methodologies (Git, CI/CD, Agile) and SDLC best practices.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $110,000 - $143,000.
