As an Accountant III, you will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports, and oversee accounts such as accruals, expenses, capital expenditures, and income. You will compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and verify accuracy. You will be responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting policies and procedures. You will also assist management in a variety of functions including general ledger support, account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and various other assignments as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare adjusting journal entries

  • Prepare subsidiary US GAAP financial statements from trial balances

  • Act as a liasion between the subsidiary and corporate accounting

  • Analyze account variances to provide a narrative for management review

  • Prepare account reconciliations

  • Assist in process and system improvements

  • Cross-departmental communication in support of transactions

  • Provide solutions for further automation of assigned tasks

  • Prepare revenue and lease assessments in accordance with US GAAP

  • Learn company processes and continually look for efficiencies and ways to automate

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Experience collaborating with diverse business partners to gather and compile accounting data

  • Experience creating financial statements from trial balances

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel data analysis

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous exposure to automated accounting systems

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or pursuing

  • Experience with MS Office products: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Familiar with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and ASC 842 Lease Accounting standards

  • Experience with foreign exchange rate conversion
