Associate Data Engineer (Texas Based, Onsite)

Essential Functions:

• Champion the organization's core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity in all interactions with stakeholders, partners, and team members.
• Developing, orchestrating, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Developing data integrations with ERP, SIS, LMS, CRM and other transaction systems.
• Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Building OLAP, virtualization and visualization and reporting software
• Data Integration and Collaboration: Ensure smooth integration of diverse data sources, maintaining data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand and address data requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement best practices for data security, compliance, and governance.
• Cross-Functional Support and Collaboration: Build strong cross-functional relationships to address data-related technical issues and provide actionable insights. Partner with DevOps and IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of data infrastructure.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends. Identify and propose improvements to enhance data infrastructure and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience across multiple operating systems: Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac.
• Cloud computing experience with one of the leading vendors: Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
• Experience with data profiling, data quality, master data management, and metadata management; detail-oriented with excellent problem identification and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team; robust collaborative, proactive, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues from varying backgrounds
• Skilled in ETL tools and processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building data lakes.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data security and governance best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the business objectives and strategic goals

The salary range for this position is $70,000- $80,000 annually.

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
