What You Will Do:

  • Making deliveries to customer locations and managing shipment of goods

  • Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information. This would include both verbal and written communications

  • Receiving goods and inventory control of goods

  • Read work instructions, work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed

  • Assemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment

  • Inspect all materials, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns, credits, debits, and non-conformances

  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding availability of in-stock items

  • Obtain accurate information relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery

  • Answer inquiries from customers providing basic technical product and applications support

  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures

  • Participate in Lean events with active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticed

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in Fairmont, WV or surrounding area

  • Work week and shift: Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM, daily overtime and weekend work may be required

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with eligibility for quarterly bonus program

  • This role is an Individual contributor

  • Regular attendance and punctuality are expected upon accepting this position

  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures (steeled toed shoes, safety glasses and other Personal Protective Equipment that is required must always be worn while performing job)

  • Maintain high ethical standards

  • Immigration sponsorship is not provided for this position

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Acceptable driving record by motor vehicle record (MVR) check

  • Able to lift up to 40lbs

  • Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Proficient in sales and ERP software system;

  • Adherence to export control regulations

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • High accuracy in data entry

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels of management

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a high level of persistency in meeting delivery schedules

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands:

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

  • Minimal bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing ladders & stairs, lifting up to 40lbs, using a keyboard and dialing.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25lbs, picking, pinching, fine manipulation and writing.

  • Frequent reaching, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling and driving.

  • Constant sitting, standing, walking, seeing, hearing and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical assembly experience

  • Oracle ERP

  • Quality Management System experience

  • Experience with chemical injection pumps

  • Warehousing and inventory experience
