Advanced Systems Engineer

Acara Solutions seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.

• As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS, you'll be a cross-functional team member responsible for defining, developing, and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system.
• We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at a higher quality and much greater capacity than the current system allows.

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with software and large solution programs, including both Hardware and Software.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system.

• Master's Degree.
• Agile experience.
• Someone who understands DOD domain/programs well, has a demonstrated capability to think at a Systems Level, and has a growth mindset.
• Success in leading the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools.
