Overview
The Software Engineer II codes, tests, and debugs existing software and contributes in the development of new applications. Utilizes thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations in the completion of department and corporate initiatives and strategies. Works on assigned projects on assigned systems in appropriate software development languages, environments, and platforms.
Responsibilities
Designs and develops complex software applications using programming languages appropriate for the assigned platform in compliance with the IT Security & SDLC Policies and applicable desk procedures.
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, optimizes, and implements software code.
- Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new software per production and client requirements.
- Conducts regular analysis of existing programs and recommends/implements methods to increase and/or optimize operating efficiency or adopt new requirements.
- Develops and maintains documentation to provide clear understanding of the purpose and operational procedures of the program.
- Identifies errors or exceptions and works with other IT team members to analyze and develop resolutions.
- Uses internal and external customer feedback to improve application functionality.
Qualifications
Education
- Min/Preferred: Preferred
- Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Description: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3
- Preferred Years of Experience: 5
- Comments: 3-5 years of experience in a structured development environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Recent and relevant experience with the following technologies: object-oriented design and programming, secure coding practices, n-tier architecture, Microsoft .NET Framework/Core, WCF, microservices, cross platform mobile frameworks (Xamarin, Flutter, etc.), base understanding and experience with web technologies (JavaScript, JSON, XML).
- Development with SQL Server databases, views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Candidates for this position must provide a recent code sample in ASP.Net or C#.

Pay Range
USD $43.08 - USD $66.78 /Hr.
