Job Description:
*Responsible for assisting with truck loading/unloading and storage operations.
*Assist management team with operational activities associated with the storage and moving of seed.
*Housekeeping, sweeping, tarping, etc.
*Perform and follow all safety procedures outlined in company written procedures.
*Work cooperatively with management team and co-workers.
*Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
*Qualifications To be considered for an opportunity, Good organizational skills Able and willing to learn new responsibilities.
*Excellent communication skills, candidates must meet the following criteria: Commitment to Client goal of achieving a zero injury culture, understand and follow company procedures.
*Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
*Ability to plan, organize and perform with limited supervision.
*High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
*Exhibit prompt and regular attendance.
*Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
*Willing to work shift with variable start time, weekends and holidays as needed.
*Willing and able to work overtime as needed during seed and harvest seasons.
*Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.
*Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
