 VTG is seeking a Ground Sytems Engineer in Chantilly, VA. What will you do?
 
 
 VTG has an opportunity for a Ground Systems Engineer to work on an exciting, fast-paced program. This position provides subject matter expertise to customer's R&D ground system design, architecture development, system integration and deployment. This position will provide technical assessments to system design and integration challenges and recommend mitigation approaches, to include: hardware solutions, software solutions, and modification of architectural design. The successful applicant will work to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex and technically challenging work. 
 Build relationships between key stakeholders such as vendors, cloud infrastructure providers, and the customerStrong analytical and collaboration skillsReview system architectures, analyze requirements and system design, propose verification methodologies, and help integrate complex ground systemsReview development contractor's documents and procedures, requirements, verification methodologies, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and test plans to ensure program successProvide support to acquisitions, source selection and programmatic processesProvide technical evaluation of proposals submitted by contractorsUpdate Statements of Work (SOW) to support any Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)Coordinate and facilitate technical exchange meetings between various organizationsMonitor system testing to ensure system requirements are properly addressed Do you have what it takes?
 
 
 
 Active TS/SCI clearance with polyBS or MS degree in STEM15+ years relevant experience with 5 years customer and ground segment experienceExperience with acquisition SETA supportDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environmentExperience with system integrationExperience in operational readiness, rehearsals, and system testingExperience across multiple engineering disciplines to include: systems engineering, software/hardware development, and integration and test |
