This individual will join the Genomes2People Research Team to manage administrative issues and participate in coordination of the G2P Advisory Board.
Responsibilities will include:
* Request Purchase Orders and pay consultant and vendor invoices in a timely manner.
* Process echeck requests for non-employee payments.
* Submit reimbursements and requisitions for G2P staff.
* Reconcile corporate credit card.
* Interview and select student trainees.
* Onboard student trainees.
* Assist with the creation of a quarterly newsletter.
* Distribute quarterly newsletter and other communications to our Constant Contact database of over 20,000 contacts.
* Assist with preparations of agendas and slide decks for quarterly scientific advisory board meetings.
* Attend quarterly scientific advisory board meetings and take meeting notes.
* Submit trainee stipends.
* Complete advanced authorization requests promptly.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required or

Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Related Field of Study preferred

Experience

administrative Assistant or Secretarial Experience 2-3 years required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency with office procedures and equipment i.e. filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Ability to proofread and edit written documents.

Ability to use phone system.

Managing one's own time and the time of others.

Strong verbal & written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills.

Ability to use standard office equipment.

Familiarity with medical terminology.
