The facility plays a critical role in strategic growth, leveraging advanced technology and expanding capabilities for customer growth. Work with Hershey leadership and 3PL partners to maintain equipment reliability and drive innovation. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and monitor electrical and mechanical automated systems Complete accurate, timely, and thorough job documentation Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams Maintain continuous system operation and respond to machine alarms Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams Cross-train peers and update system manuals Serve as Hershey Maintenance representative on the production floor Propose and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements Utilize SAP for maintenance tasks and documentation Minimum Education and Experience Requirements 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in military or industrial settings, ideally within complex manufacturing environments Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical) Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 (preferred) Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems Associate's Degree or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics or related field (preferred) Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with a team and perform physical tasks Requires successful completion of pre-employment skills assessments Work Environment Climate-controlled food manufacturing facility Safety-first culture with Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
