The registered nurse provides care for medical/surgical patients varying by specialty from birth to adulthood. The unit specialized in heart, liver, and kidney transplants, genetic/metabolic diseases, and inpatient clinical research. This unit also specialized in cardiac/cardiac surgery patients, which includes step-down level of care. Common diagnoses include complex congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias, with medical and surgical intervention.Click here to learn more about Bloomberg 9 North!
