Position Overview The Lead Supplier Manager, Direct and TPM, within the Sourcing Operations Support (SOS) team, is accountable for ensuring business continuity and operational excellence by managing supplier performance, driving escalation resolution, and safeguarding supply availability. The Lead Supplier Manager, Direct and TPM will work with direct material suppliers, third party/external contract manufacturers, and internal cross-functional teams to proactively mitigate risks, secure adequate capacity, and resolve disruptions across the value chain Acting as both a hands-on supplier leader and a strategic advisor, the Lead Supplier Manager builds governance frameworks, fosters supplier relationships, and ensures alignment with Exact Sciences' mission to advance patient care through reliable, innovative, and ethical sourcing practices. Lastly, this role will act as an escalation path for other members of the team to support supply chain continuity, assurance of supply, and accountabilities of the Supplier Management, Direct and TPM team. Essential Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * Lead cross-functional response efforts to supplier escalations and disruptions, restoring continuity of supply and driving risk mitigation strategies in partnership with Quality, GCM, Operations, and other stakeholders. * 100% product availability for all commercial/clinical products by managing supplier performance, maintaining close supplier relationships, highlighting supplier related risks to drive mitigation strategies when needed, and partnering with quality on supplier quality issue resolution * 100% product availability by ensuring adequate capacity is in place with suppliers to meet our near- and long-term volume goals * Represent SOS as a trusted advisor and escalation authority, driving timely resolution of supply assurance challenges across Direct and TPM suppliers * Ensure supplier management practices align with global procurement policies, SOPs, and sourcing thresholds to maintain compliance, reduce risk, and support organizational transformation objectives. * Supplier management of direct material suppliers and contract manufacturers. Includes performance management, risk monitoring, capacity management, change management, and relationship building; leverage analytics and standardized tools to enable consistent and data-driven supplier management * Collaborate with contract manufacturers and cross functional internal teams including Quality, Engineering, MQSC and the Business when opportunities arise and technical support/follow up is required * Support internal teams to qualify a change * Attend/coordinate cross functional meetings such as MRB that support new initiatives or could impact direct material suppliers or third-party manufacturers AND be a voice for the entire Direct and TPM team * Support recurring reviews of supplier performance and business reviews * Provide updates to stakeholders to ensure all are aware of ongoing initiatives and projects. * Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with Exact Sciences' long-term operational goals. Proactively works with Global Category Management (GCM) team to monitor ongoing health and risk level of existing suppliers * Provide technical information to suppliers to support investigations and partner with Quality. * Coordinate/lead cross-functional meetings with suppliers to address technical and/or quality issues * Build knowledge of the Suppliers enterprise, processes, supply chain, and management to best support the program * Strong leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills * Strong ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multi-level personnel as well as vendors and their representatives * Strong attention-to-detail * Demonstrated ability to quickly develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, both internal and external * Dedicated team player who can withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environment and support other team members * Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills are essential * Strong planning and organizational skills * Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deal with changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness * Powerful negotiation skills * Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork * Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures * Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization * Regular and reliable attendance * Ability to work designated schedule * Ability to work nights and/or weekends * Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day * Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day * Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height * Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously * Ability to use a telephone through a headset * Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements * Ability and means to travel between Madison locations * Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel Minimum Qualifications

Salary Range: $109,000.00 - $185,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
