| The Project Cost Performance (PCP) Vehicle Cost Manager is responsible for managing cost development (cost loops and assessments) for programs pre-IM to SOP. The PCP Manager will work with multiple cross functional organizations and all levels of management from senior executives to product Design and Release Engineers. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead Team to Consolidate Total Production Cost (TPC) and Vendor Tooling (VT) from intention Milestone to SOP, including alignment with Mass Production at SOP 
  
 Ensure consistency of the TPC to the project team through sourcing and CCD/CNsTPC assessment during the advance phase based on preliminary inputs (VBOM, scope sheet, etc.)Total Production Cost & VT comparison. Crosspollinate data from other projects (recovery plan, comparisons...)Entry Point into CTPC for Projects
 Lead Design to Cost Process from early Advanced phase until TKOM (Tooling kick off milestone): 
  
 Support PCP Program Lead with monitoring and consolidating cost optimization actions Assist Design to Cost process for Projects ensuring it implemented in advanced phase and developmentSupport Idea Generation on cost savings based on deep knowledge on vehicle, markets, and segment 
  Support TPC target development with TPC Target Proposals:

 Support financial assessments led by the ECAP team for Eco AdviceAligning, formalizing & implementing TPC/VT methodologies and rules
 Critical skills: 
  
 Understanding of vehicle construction by systems (Body, Chassis, Powertrain, Interior, etc) and subsystems (Underbody, suspension, trim, cooling, HVAC, etc)
 
    
 Understand part break up of vehicles and how they are assembledAbility to identify and organize technical commodities into their functional purposeIdentify and propose design alternatives to meet and exceed aggressive cost targets 
 
Lead cross functional team reviews of cost status to target, component sourcing, governance cost report outs.

 Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university or Bachelor of Science degree in Finance10 years of Automotive Industry experienceExperience in vehicle / component design / release engineering, vehicle finance cost, program management, and / or component cost analysisExcellent leadership communications / people skillsAttention to detailAble to manage change and present ideas / concepts to all levels of management Able to motivate and lead people that do not report directly to youMS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
