Position Summary

The Hearing
Office is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Strategic Support Manager, a role that coordinates the administration of hearing processes,
ensuring compliance with federal guidelines (e.g., Title IX, EEO, OCR standards)
and university policy; leads the implementation of hearing policies, procedures,
and compliance initiatives; and coordinates
information systems, case management databases, and required reports to ensure
accuracy, integrity, and compliance.

The Strategic
Support Manager maintains an organizational structure and staffing that
effectively supports the Hearing Office's mission and objectives; oversees
recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of Administrative Advisors
and support staff.

The Strategic
Support Manager serves as the principal liaison between
the Hearing Office, the Office of CEEO, and other university offices under the
"One Process, Two Offices" framework and facilitates collaborative planning to
strengthen institutional compliance efforts and strategic initiatives. This position reports directly to the Administrative
Hearing Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience
    working in a higher education hearing, compliance, or legal environment.
  • Experience
    with case management systems and data integrity protocols.
  • Ability
    to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience
    managing and developing staff.
  • Ability
    to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong
    interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience
    working effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
  • Juris
    Doctor (JD) degree preferred.
