 Execute the day-to-day accounting research and analysis activities of the engagementDemonstrate awareness and knowledge of Federal Government's financial and management responsibilitiesLeading execution in drafting and preparing project deliverablesLeading execution in preparing and reviewing financial statements and footnotesLeading execution in performing reconciliations and other financial analysesPerforming risk assessments in accordance with OMB Circular A-123 and the FIAR GuidanceIdentifying the conditions and issues from maintaining generating financial statements in accordance with GAAPProposing new or revised accounting policies and procedures as well as implementation strategies to address audit findingsDesigning corrective action plans to address the root causes of audit findingsDeveloping and assisting in the implementation of a strategy to overcome material weaknessesRecommending new business processes or controls needed to achieve financial statement assertions Qualifications
 
 
 
 BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or Business Administration with a major in AccountingMinimum 6 years of accounting and auditing experienceExperience working with Federal and/or DoD clientsCPA RequiredExperience in A-123 and internal controlsExperience in federal general ledgers (e.g. SAP, Oracle and Momentum and financial reportingExperience in Data reconciliations, abnormal balances, tie-points, and variance research analysisAbility to navigate a transaction database and determine potential issues or inappropriate postingProficient skills in ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterim Secret Clearance (US Citizenship Required) Overview

This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law.
