Description

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides leadership and supervision to utility and/or contractor construction crews. Responsible for construction management and supervision of medium and intermediate complexity capital projects and MAOP projects. Assists with administration and training of welding and fusion programs as well as tapping and stopping using Mueller and Kleiss equipment. Assists with scheduling and daily operations at fabrication shops.







MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must possess a working knowledge of gas utility operations at a level normally acquired through an associate degree in engineering, construction, business or a related field; and
  • Two years' experience in the construction and maintenance of gas pipeline facilities; prior supervisory and project management experience.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Requires travel: Moderate (up to 25%).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.

  • Construction Management Degree


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Supervises assigned construction projects to ensure work is performed in accordance with construction plans, work plans, and company procedures.
  • Serves as the point of contact on assigned construction projects and coordinates with project engineer.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and provides on-boarding of contract construction managers.
  • Provides management of inspection crews and performs inspections of the work.
  • Provides input to project engineers to include plan review, field assessment of project site, construction methods, and potential hazards.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
