Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Fully supports, accurately completes, maintains, instills corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policies/procedures and relevant documentation at the facility in operating/maintaining responsibility for a safe, efficient, environmentally friendly facility.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere to all Food Safety, FDA, Medical, and cGMP policies. Instill and model safe practices, reporting defective equipment or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager promptly. Escort on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors, ensuring their compliance with national safety policies and procedures. Monitor Work Permits for contractors, ensuring they follow Air Liquide SOPs and are qualified. Conduct acceptance PSSR reviews with operations and maintenance. Participate in facility safety meetings.
Maintenance Management (Maximo CMMS)
Identify potential reliability threats and enter them into Maximo as Corrective Work Orders. Monitor work order generation, ensuring accurate and complete information. Review completed Maximo Work Orders for adequate documentation. Develop Job Plans for corrective and preventive maintenance. Schedule, plan, and coordinate maintenance activities for ASU equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, and analytical equipment by assigning work within Maximo. Manage procurement of long lead items for preventive and corrective maintenance. Review Medical maintenance reports and verify documentation in Work Orders prior to completion. Develop and maintain PM schedules for Process Critical Equipment. Support the development and optimization of Mechanical and I/E Maintenance Programs.
Assist and work closely with operations and/or the plant manager on daily facility needs. Foster open communication among all facility technicians regarding best practices, operational/facility needs, safety issues/concerns, conflicts of interest, and sharing operational knowledge. Lead daily/weekly maintenance discussions. Communicate repair functions with plant management. Work with the Field Sourcing Specialist to ensure cost-effective repairs and adherence to procurement guidelines. Collaborate with maintenance team members on daily activities and to resolve job assignment issues.
Maintain accurate records and be diligent in documentation and record retention policies/procedures. Determine if immediate maintenance action is required, document it, and report to appropriate personnel. Study and maintain site-specific standard operating procedures, P&IDs, PFDs, and all other technical documentation. Maintain facility maintenance records in an organized and timely manner.
Maintain the plant HVAC system or contract repairs as needed. Schedule cosmetic maintenance of the facility, including mowing and building repairs. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, securing tools and equipment when not in use. Actively pursue personal growth and career development through self-initiative and available resources, coordinated with the supervisor. Follow policies and procedures for vacation scheduling, floating holidays, and personal days off. Assist in internal and external audits.

Availability for on-call plant emergencies, including holidays and weekends Comprehensive understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures Proficiency in performing all work in compliance with standard operating/maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety skills, Safe Start, and all safety requirements (e.g., safe work permits, energy control isolation, IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections) Ability to acquire knowledge and proficiency in all plant operations, including processes and equipment Demonstrated understanding of governmental regulations such as Food Safety, FDA, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, environmental permitting/compliance, loading/quality assurance, basic electricity, national/local operating procedures, CMMS, maintenance management processes, and all HSE issues associated with the facility Strong mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical aptitude Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
