OSI Systems is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead Rapiscan's Americas legal function. Rapiscan Systems is a division of OSI Systems, Inc., a California-based Nasdaq-listed company. Rapiscan provides technologies and services in security inspection, access control, remote sensing and communications for applications in Homeland Security and Defense. Rapiscan is a global company serving clients in more than 100 countries. Subject matters overseen will include U.S. federal government contracting, general commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance. The position oversees a team of in-house attorneys as well as the Contracts Management function. The successful candidate will have: (a) a strong entrepreneurial spirit; (b) strong people skills; (c) a high level of maturity and professionalism; (d) the ability to interact comfortably with C-level executives and board members; and the ability to deal with a wide range of issues, circumstances, and personalities.
