As a Strategic TFM Account Manager, Here's What You'll Do:

This position will engage in day-to-day operational and fleet service functions with Union Leasing's customers to manage solutions, resolve issues and provide a strategic replacement plan (Total Fleet Management or TFM). The Strategic TFM Account Manager is responsible for client retention as well as provide premium level service and build customer relationships at all levels of the client's organization. The Strategic TFM Account Manager is a key value-added resource that takes on the proactive initiatives and management of the fleet program outsourced to Union Leasing. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of high touch premium customer experience success and enjoy working in a fast paced, team centered, and technology driven work environment.

Strategic TFM Account Manager Role and Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate initiatives related to meeting forecast goals of the Manager Strategic Services and Account Executive for all the TFM Clients.
  • Partner with the Manager Strategic Services to increase TFM Revenue annually by supporting and presenting on new business opportunities.
  • Manage the Union Leasing Total Fleet Management (TFM) experience to customers.
  • Furnish superior forward-facing customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Manage proactive fleet replacement strategies.
  • Generate client specific reports and data analysis files, and share with the customer through proactive recommendations
  • Present and make recommendations related to TFM clients during annual review meetings
  • Recommend and develop a customer's vehicle selections utilizing industry data.
  • Coordinate the set-up process for new clients, interacting with all functional areas of the Company on behalf of the new customers and Sales team.
  • Service customers, including understanding the nature of the customer inquiries, determining next steps, and pursuing resolution of issues to successful and prompt completion.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the new vehicle's operational life from acquisition, thru fuel and maintenance utilization, initial and annual registration requirements, accident claims, mileage tracking, Telematics data tracking, through to the sale of the asset as well as it monthly invoicing
  • Manage customer requests for factory orders, out of stock vehicles, driver data changes, requested reports, L&T issues.
  • Coordinate and train TFM clients on Union Leasing's customer technology platforms and assist customers with navigation where appropriate.
  • Advise and assist a customer with enforcement of their fleet policy.


Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in this Role:



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or commensurate experience).
  • 3 years Fleet Management front line facing client experience (minimum)
  • 5 years leasing or related automobile or business experience (preferred)

  • Ability to prioritize and spend sufficient time on prospecting and new business activities.
  • Capacity to meet demanding deadlines from both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to prioritize workload quickly and effectively throughout the day based on request for service.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to provide sound problem solving, analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management experience.
  • Exceptional communication written and verbal skills required.
  • Ability to prepare strategic data and reports from multiple sources.
  • Work collaboratively in a team centered work environment.
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) above average skill level


Physical Demands



  • This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers and fax machines.
  • This job will require up to 20% travel throughout North America.

Compensation/Benefits

The hiring range for this role is: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD Annual. This role is classified as exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on financial and personal performance throughout the plan year.

Sasser is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay ranges are assigned to a job based on market data according to 3rd party salary benchmarking surveys. Actual base salary is dependent upon factors such as knowledge, skill level, and experience.
