The Technology Engineer manages and implements client data within technological ecosystems, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and other emerging tech platforms. This role serves as a key partner in aligning business requirements with technical execution, ensuring accurate data integration and system configuration throughout the client lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, identifying gaps or discrepancies, and performing data modeling to support optimal system performance. The Tech Engineer collaborates closely with Solution Design and Engineer, Tech Provider, PMO, Client and Implementation teams to configure technology applications that meet client specifications. They maintain the Data Configuration Workbook, build and quality-assure load files, and manage data both pre- and post-deployment. Post-implementation, the Tech Engineer continues to support client data needs, including system updates (e.g., cost centers, users, rate changes) and internal documentation (includes project checklist and project documentation). They own and lead all technical configuration for client expansions, partnering with internal MSP Solutions and Shared Support teams to ensure seamless planning and execution. All activities are performed in compliance with organizational policies, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in data management practices. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon's incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility. Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
