What you will do:

  • Head emergency response initiatives, securing the safety and efficiency of operations.
  • Manage operating and capital projects from the budget proposal stage through construction, ensuring successful implementation of AFE's.
  • Supervise pipeline maintenance projects, including open system hot work with internal and contract resources.
  • Ensure efficient management of system outages through meticulous planning and coordination with internal and external collaborators.
  • Supervise directly while carrying out maintenance duties.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency and operations call-out support.
  • Fulfill the Supervisor role in their absence, ensuring continuity and efficiency.

Who you are:

  • Candidates need a related degree and 7+ years' experience, OR 10+ years field operations experience, OR a similar blend of education and experience.
  • Proven project management and logistical coordination skills that ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • A remarkable attitude towards and deep knowledge of corporate safety policies and procedures.
  • Mechanical/electrical competence and administrative proficiency related to pipeline experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve world-class results.
  • Proficient in handling confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proven track record of identifying and implementing impactful solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage professionally with staff at various levels.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with fieldwork and overnight travel as projects dictate.
  • Managing work or emergency response operations outside regular hours could be necessary.
  • Frequent travel to construction sites and the flexibility to manage multiple projects, work priorities, fieldwork schedules, and travel.
  • Shifting priorities to meet changing directions.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary range:$94,300 to $130,000

Pension:

  • The plan is fully paid for by Enbridge, with no employee contributions.
  • Pay credits are between 4% and 11% of eligible earnings, based on age and service.
