Description

Role Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for ensuring all program CDRLs are accurate and submitted on time
  • Ensures all aspects of the CFSR are accurate, working cross-functionally to ensure each department's submissions are provided
  • Works with the logistics team to ensure all logistics CDRLs are submitted
  • Monitor and assess the status of material orders to ensure timely procurement and delivery
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on material order status, labor utilization, and forecasting accuracy
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to address any delays or issues in the supply chain
  • Implement strategies for efficient inventory management and cost-effectiveness
  • Track and analyze labor resources to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Collaborate with human resources to address staffing needs, skill gaps, and resource allocation challenges.
  • Provide insights into optimizing workforce productivity and efficiency.
  • Works with logistics team to perform data analysis and historical trends to develop accurate and insightful forecasts for program activities
  • Assists in coordination with other functional areas on matters related to logistics; prepares responses as necessary to customer correspondence and other requests
  • Uses specialized knowledge to solve lower-complexity problems
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize, focus on, and complete work
  • Performs other duties assigned
  • Investigate pain points within the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies
  • Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes
  • To eliminate waste, examine present procedures and suggest or implement improvements.
  • Uses tactical procedures every day in accordance with the defined business standards
  • Respond to consumer inquiries with independence and discretion, then offer solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to address issues and assist with implementations
  • Coordinate discussions between the customer and site supervisors to ensure timely cost reconciliations
  • Lead weekly discussions with program management and site supervisors to provide up to date funding across all CLINs on the program.
  • Perform routine deep dives into various sections of the contract to ensure labor and material charging aligns with financial goals established in EAC discussions.


Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Must have experience working with international companies who are not used to working under a US Government prime contract and the patience and ability to coach them through the process.
  • Must be able to quickly and effectively process and assimilate large volumes of data, experience with Excel will be essential to this role.
  • Must have experience with SAP
  • Must be capable of working independently in a high-paced, demanding environment with minimal error rate.
  • Comfortable with frequently adjusting priorities to include new taskings with little to no advance notice.
  • Responsible for protecting the legal and financial interests of Vectrus Systems Corporation during all discussions and interactions with customers and suppliers. Supports all internal and external audits and provides program support to both internal and external customers.
  • Operates under the functional guidance of Supply Chain organization and Corporate Purchasing Manual
