Position Description

  • To design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet internal business needs and external customer requirements. Responsible for analyzing, coding, testing, debugging, and implementing programming systems while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborates with users to define requirements and clarify program goals, producing thorough documentation and user manuals to support system use and maintenance. Demonstrates proficiency in relational database and application development concepts, applying proven methodologies and best practices throughout the software development life cycle. Leverages experience, creativity, and sound judgment to manage complex projects, provide technical leadership, and mentor entry-level analysts in achieving business solutions.


  • Essential Job Tasks:
  • Performs all tasks according to the Project Management Office (PMO) standards. This includes project definition, development of the project schedule, system analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, support, along with required status reporting for management. Ensures systems and programs are designed and programmed in the most cost effective and efficient manner while providing the desired results.
  • Consults with individual clients, interprets requests for information and solutions to business problems including business process mapping and re-engineering of these processes, resulting in computerized and/or procedural solutions that satisfy all corporate/client requirements.
  • Performs application support and maintenance including program configuration and coding, program and functional testing, and production turnover in accordance with current standards, assuring programs perform as designed before being placed in production, and assures they are scheduled to process as required.
  • Serves on-call, 24 hours, 7 days a week, responding to web and client/server application problems.
  • Reviews work assignments of other Developers assuring results match specifications and conform to current Enterprise Business System (EBS) standards. Provides training of other analysts as necessary.
  • Documents application and programs according to current standards. Provides client training as required.
  • Performs analysis and modeling required for the extraction and transformation of data into star schema designs for data warehouse reporting and dashboarding.

  • Applications Analyst II
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree is required + 2 years of experience in the Information Technology Field or an Associate's Degree + 4 years of experience.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills enabling creative solutions to business and technical problems.
  • Must have solid interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with management, clients, and various technical personnel within IT.


  • Experience is preferred in the following:
    1) Enterprise Applications - Financial, Asset Management, Work Management, Content Management, Human Resources, Payroll, and Oracle Business Intelligence. Generation applications: Predictive Maintenance.
    2) Application Languages and Tools - Java, JavaScript, .NET, UNIX Scripting, JSP, HTML, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Micro Focus COBOL, C++, C#, Objective-C, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Application Express, and Adobe Forms.
    3) Application Development Environments/Platforms - Adobe Flash Builder, Xcode, Jdeveloper, Eclipse, JQuery, Jboss, WebLogic, Tomcat, WebSphere, Oracle Portal, Oracle Internet Developer, Oracle and SQL Server databases in Unix, Windows, Apple iOS, and Linux environments.

    Compensation Information:
    $82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)

    Applications Analyst I
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree or High School Diploma/GED + 4 years related experience is required.


  • Compensation Information:
    $66,390 - $82,980 (min. - mid.)
