Job Overview
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) will serve as a strategic business partner, leading and supporting the implementation of Chugach human capital programs and core HR processes including but not limited to talent assessment and development, performance management, employee relations, total rewards, succession planning and talent pipeline development, organization effectiveness and leadership development. The Sr. HRBP will serve in a HR advisory role providing support to various HR professionals on full employee lifecycle processes. Work Model: Remote
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Establish a firm understanding of the business to advise, present, influence and build relationships with internal customers to assist execution of the overall business strategy.
- Create close partnerships with local HR teams and provide thought leadership in the areas of employee performance and development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, HR strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications.
- Act as a connector between HR and the business, ensuring alignment on global people strategies while being sensitive to local needs and compliance.
- Support and enable leaders to make informed decisions about talent, serve as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues and ensure accountability with HR deliverables.
- Lead the project management execution of multiple HR projects to include planning, organizing, implementing, and completing the projects simultaneously on topics within various HR work streams.
- Partner with internal HR team in delivering HR solutions to include Total Rewards and Performance Management, Salary Planning, Talent Management and Development, Workforce Planning and Management, Predictive and Actionable HR Metrics.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization through data analysis, research and benchmarking and develop solutions in partnership with business leadership and functional HR teams.
- Play a key leadership role in the company's transformation by reinforcing a culture of growth, accountability, and informed decision making through the application of human capital tools and processes.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resource management, Organization Development, or related field. An additional four years of human resources experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR with minimum of five (5) years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner role supporting senior leaders in multi-cultural and multi-location environments. An additional four years of human resources experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience providing large scale program HR support across various human resources processes, including talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, total rewards, organizational effectiveness and leadership development.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various groups, including leadership, employees, and peers, through adaptability and a customer-centric approach.
- Solid business acumen and skilled in balancing strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, navigate ambiguity, and manage priorities across the environment.
- Experience with successfully manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues, facilitate effective decision-making, and provide clear and concise information to various stakeholders.
- This position may require up to 10% travel in support of the business.
Preferred:
- Experience working for a federal government contracting or consulting organization.
- Experience working in manufacturing or union environments.
- Experience with large scale program HR support or working across multiple HR disciplines.
- Experience with Dayforce or similar human resources information system.
- HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI).
