Position Title: Senior Human Resources Specialist

C Technologies seeks a Senior Human Resources Specialist to work closely with and under the supervision of program leadership to support federal retirement and employee benefits operations for a government client. This individual will provide expert-level counseling, process complex cases, and support employees through critical HR and benefits milestones. Responsibilities
Provide guidance on retirement, health insurance, life insurance, and related benefits.
Review and correct retirement system determinations under FERCCA, ensuring employees receive accurate information to make elections.
Explain eligibility requirements and entitlement rules for health and life insurance, Thrift Savings Plan, and other federal benefits programs.
Provide advisory services in sensitive or contested cases involving retirement and benefits decisions.
Develop and deliver training sessions, briefings, and educational materials for employees and management.
Assist in updating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for benefits and retirement processing.
Prepare clear, well-documented responses to employee, retiree, and stakeholder inquiries.
Collaborate with OPM, benefit carriers, and other federal agencies on casework as needed.
