The Engineer III, Systems is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of complex systems that support Concentra's IT infrastructure. This role involves configuring and optimizing server environments, ensuring high availability and performance of applications. Engineers conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures to protect sensitive data. Additionally, they are tasked with troubleshooting system issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing solutions to prevent future occurrences. Responsibilities
System Design and Architecture. Engineer III, Systems is responsible for designing,
implementing, and maintaining complex systems architecture. This includes evaluating system
performance, ensuring scalability, and integrating new technologies. The role requires the
engineer to develop detailed specifications for system components, conduct feasibility studies,
and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Additionally, the engineer will troubleshoot system issues and optimize existing architectures for
improved efficiency.

Systems Configuration and Management. Engineer III, Systems is responsible for configuring,
deploying, and maintaining server environments. This includes installing operating systems,
applying patches, managing user accounts, and ensuring optimal performance through regular
monitoring and troubleshooting. The role also involves implementing security measures to protect
server data and collaborating with other IT teams to integrate systems effectively. Engineers also
configure, administer and maintain Cloud and IT Subscription environments, like Microsoft 365,
Azure, Citrix and AWS.

Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Major: Computer Engineering, Computer Science Degree must be from an accredited college or university. Customarily has at least the following experience: 8 years * At least 8 years of experience in systems engineering of Microsoft Windows Server OS. * Hands-on experience administering Active Directory including building AD forests, configuring trust relationship between domains, implementing group policies, managing sites and services, configuring DNS records, administering AD FS. * Experience in configuring Linux OS. * Strong experience in administering Microsoft 365 tenants. That includes advanced experience in establishing new tenants, experience in migrations from on-premise to Cloud environments or tenant-to-tenant migrations. * Advanced experience in managing Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Teams, Microsoft 365 Apps. * Advanced experience in managing Hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments. * Advanced experience in administering Citrix DaaS. Engineer III, Systems is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtualization solutions that optimize server utilization and enhance system performance. This includes configuring and maintaining virtual machines, managing hypervisors, ensuring high availability of virtual environments, and troubleshooting virtualization-related issues. The role also involves automating deployment processes using tools like VMware vSphere or Citrix Workspace to streamline operations and improve efficiency. * Network Configuration and Management. Engineer III, Systems is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network configurations in server environment to ensure optimal performance and security. This includes monitoring network traffic; troubleshooting connectivity issues; and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role also involves documenting network configurations and changes, performing regular audits, and collaborating with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects. * Operating Systems Administration (Linux/Windows). Engineer III, Systems is responsible for managing and maintaining both Linux and Windows operating systems. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting system software, ensuring system security through updates and patches, monitoring system performance, and optimizing resource utilization. Engineers architect Active Directory forests and domains, develop Group Policies and access roles. * Scripting and Automation (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Graph). Engineer III, Systems is expected to develop, maintain, and optimize scripts using PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages to automate system administration tasks. This includes creating scripts for user account management, system monitoring, and data backup processes.
