Join LaForce, an industry leader in commercial doors, frames, and hardware, and take charge of our Denver branch shop operations. As our Shop Supervisor, you'll combine hands-on craftsmanship with strong leadership to drive performance, ensure safety, and deliver top-quality results to our customers.

Starting Pay: $31.25 - $36.06/hr. based on experience.

What You'll Do

As the Shop Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind daily production and logistics. You'll lead a skilled team of welders, door technicians, delivery drivers, and shipping/receiving technicians - keeping the shop running smoothly and efficiently.

Your day-to-day will include:



  • Overseeing hollow metal door and frame production, shipping, receiving, and delivery coordination.
  • Managing production schedules and ensuring projects stay on time and on target.
  • Leading by example - working hands-on alongside your team.
  • Hiring, training, coaching, and developing your crew for success.
  • Enforcing and improving safety and quality standards.
  • Partnering with branch and company departments to meet customer commitments.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and applying lean manufacturing practices.
  • Handling logistics, delivery coordination, and inventory management.


What You Bring

You'll thrive in this role if you have:



  • 3+ years of supervisory experience (preferably in the manufacturing or construction industries).
  • A strong understanding of production metrics, workflow optimization, and labor management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • An associate's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.

Physical & Onsite Requirements

This is an onsite leadership role in our Denver shop. You'll be active on the floor, leading by example - standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs. Safety and attention to detail are a must.
