Join us in our fight for an AIDS-free generation. Job DescriptionHow will you fight for an AIDS-free generation? The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will work under the supervision of the Cluster M&E Officer to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation processes and system at site level. The incumbent will ensure that data management procedures are followed to allow for the complete and timely submission of various databases, monitoring of the implementation of M&E activities and data quality assessments. No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role? Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities * Ensure proper archiving of the Site's databases, * Regularly verify the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all variables used to report on the required indicators, * Ensure the daily availability of good quality data (Completeness = 100%, Accuracy = 100%, Timeliness = 100%), * Support in the correct entry of data into the different databases, * Support in the periodic verification of data at site level, * Assist/participate in routine quarterly data quality audits at site level, * Support in data review meetings, * Support in quality improvement activities at site level, * Supervise all data entry activities at the site. QualificationsTo be successful, you will need to have: * Level: Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in: statistics, computer science, public health, or other health system field, * Have experience in managing/supervising Data Collection Officers: task sharing, supervision, mentoring, coaching, etc, * Have strong experience in organising data review and validation meetings at site level, * Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be familiar with Excel, Access, Power BI and Pivot tables, * Language: Bilingualism (French and English). However, be fluent in one language and proficient in the other, * Demonstrate computer or biostatistical skills, * Other required skills: good interpersonal skills, availability, flexibility, respect for deadlines, interest in public health, rigorous and motivated.
