In the role of Geomatics Delivery Coordinator,

  • Managing the digital geomatics environment and survey deliverables for an entire project
  • Have an understanding of how all disciplines interact and how final project documents are produced
  • Work directly with more advanced Digital Delivery Leads to execute the digital deliverables outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)
  • Execute the digital geomatics deliverables and support the production team throughout the project duration
  • Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team
  • Conduct research on a project, review client and government records
  • Prepare complex base maps and survey drawings
  • Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements
  • Maintain quality. This individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase through issue of geomatics deliverables
  • Help to develop new quality standards in both technical application and geomatics delivery
  • Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients
  • Monitor and maintain company standards and digital survey product health
  • Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Survey and Design Reviews
  • Project archiving at submittals and closeout
  • Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital survey deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones
  • Perform other duties as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience
  • A minimum of 5 years digital geomatics delivery experience in 3D environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of operations of survey systems and how it relates to disciplines utilizing geomatics data
  • Advanced skillset of CAD, survey, and lidar software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices for land survey
  • Familiar with software add-ins and supporting applications
  • Familiar with digital geomatics data management concepts
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office product experience
  • General background-related experience
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
