Staffmark is hiring a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a growing
organization in the construction industry. In this key role, you'll manage HR functions including compliance, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.

Salary: $65K-$100K (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities



  • Develop and enforce HR policies aligned with labor laws and company goals
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations
  • Advise leadership and staff on HR practices and conflict resolution
  • Lead employee engagement, training, and development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and reporting
  • Support project-based workforce planning for current and future needs
  • Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture



Qualifications



  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of HR management experience (construction/industrial preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with union environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA/DOT)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
