JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach PLSC 460: Science, Technology, and Public Policy in Spring Semester 2026. This residential (on-campus, face-to-face) course serves students in the political science and public policy bachelor's programs. Requirements and Qualifications Master's degree in political science, public policy, public administration, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred). Relevant academic or professional background; teaching experience preferred. Desired Skills Policy analysis and evaluation. Data literacy (e.g., R, Stata, Python). AI applications in policy analysis. Survey design and analysis (e.g., Qualtrics). Technical and policy writing. Applied professional experience in government, industry, or nonprofit policy roles.
