Inspection & Repair Coordinator

The Inspection & Repair Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all DeSHAZO's customer needs are met and that the customer's Overhead Crane systems are inspected, well-maintained, and serviced according to usage and manufacturer requirements. This involves carrying out standard maintenance procedures, ensuring frequent inspections are completed, and ensuring that required repairs are scheduled and completed promptly. The Inspection and Repair Coordinator collaborates with other personnel on-site and off-site, including crane technicians, salespeople, service coordinators, vendors, and management to ensure inspection timelines and reporting requirements are met. The Inspection & Repair Coordinator will report to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities
:
- Solicit and maintain communication with DeSHAZO customers and vendors.
- Review inspections reports to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
- Maintain vendor and customer relationships in the interest of developing and maintaining long term relationships.
- Ensure that DeSHAZO's quotes are built competitively through collaboration with Sales, Management, and Engineering.
- Maintain technical excellence in work environment.
- Develop creative solutions to problems by using critical thinking skills.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Develop analytics and maintain statistical data regarding sales, goals, and deliverables pertaining to inspections and repairs.
- Build and maintain inspection schedules for customers and assist Service Manager with inspection schedule coordination.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
:
- 5 years prior Overhead Crane Inspection & Repair experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be familiar with interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
- Must be familiar with ERP systems and inspection reporting requirements.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with Crane Manufacturer Association of America, Inc. (CMAA) specifications for overhead cranes.
