All about the role:

As the Warehousing Director, you will lead finished goods warehouses of our network including 8 Regional Distribution Centers in US and 4 Factory Distribution Centers in US and Mexico. Operational Excellence in all elements of the warehouse network, operating within the capital (CAPEX) and operating budget at the highest levels of service. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects and teams, contributing knowledge, and developing leaders, performing analysis, developing solutions, justifying investment, integrating systems with processes, providing training, and measuring results.

The position will require a proven record of high performance, accountability, and reliability in a leadership role of multiple sites. A constant focus on customer service and cost excellence is critical for success. Operational experience in warehousing, logistics, 3PL handling management is a must.

Where you'll be:

This position will be based in the HQ, Charlotte Office, North Carolina.

What you'll do:

  • Drive a culture of safety throughout all warehouse operations ensuring safety comes first and safety programs are implemented flawlessly.

  • Develop network strategy including gravity analysis, capacity management, insourcing & outsourcing trade-offs, risk management and resilience balancing service level, cost and flexibility.

  • Prepare, monitor, and control all aspects of the capital, fixed, and variable cost budgets and forecasts as well as ensuring execution.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including customers to influence strategic design and leverage our network capabilities.

  • Manage and develop relationships with third party providers including the oversight of complex negotiations with third party logistics (3PL) companies and building strategic relationships with other external Supply Chain partners.

  • Work closely with Logistics, Operations, Finance, Product Line, & Sales to provide distribution channel strategy insight as it relates to product flows and service level.

  • Drive implementation of best-in-class inventory management practices, including cycle count programs and utilization of technology.

  • Drive continuous improvement and implement rapid PDCA cycles across the organization, ensuring best practice sharing and constant drive for cost excellence.

  • Partner with senior business leaders, to put in place business processes and procedures to realize targeted improvements.

  • Drive lean culture in all sites applying EMS (Electrolux Manufacturing System) as way of working in the operations.

  • Mentor, train and develop a superior leadership team that will drive overall organizational engagement. Institutionalize organizational learning and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Ability to travel required 50-60%.

  • Minimum 10 years of escalating leadership experience in operations, logistics and warehouse management.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational improvement initiatives that have yielded measurable improvements in financial performance.

  • Ability to analyze and improve processes in a wide variety of functional areas.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

  • Experience in a diverse, matrixed, multi-cultural environment.
