Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid)

Ellumen is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Project Manager/Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and modules. This hybrid role combines hands-on development with enterprise-level architectural guidance to ensure ServiceNow supports governance, modernization, and IT service delivery objectives across the government enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, GRC) and build workflows, dashboards, and enterprise integrations.
  • Define and enforce platform governance, security controls, and development standards.
  • Lead Agile teams in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, release reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Lead the architecture and design of complex ServiceNow solutions.
  • Serve as the ServiceNow SME for government leadership, translating requirements into solutions and guiding roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508, FedRAMP, and DHS IT security policies.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with active DHS Public Trust clearance (CBP preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience).
  • 7+ years in ServiceNow development/architecture, with 3+ years in a senior architect role.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and integrations (APIs, web services, MID servers).
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience and IT service delivery knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical teams and government stakeholders.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer; Architect certifications preferred.
  • Experience with DHS or CBP programs.
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance, TRM processes, AI/automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
