Job Description:
A Mobile Architect for an international rollout needs to define and implement a scalable, high-performance mobile architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, and guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and platform selection. Key responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, driving CI/CD pipelines, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt solutions for diverse international markets while ensuring security, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design & Strategy:
- Define and maintain the mobile architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with international business goals and technical standards.
- Design modular, scalable, and secure solutions for react native platforms, considering various device types and network conditions.
- Oversee the end-to-end architecture for mobile solutions, focusing on performance, maintainability, and security.
Technical Leadership & Guidance:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to iOS, Android, fLUTTER, and cross-platform development teams.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure compliance and quality across various projects.
Technology Evaluation & Adoption:
- Research, evaluate, and recommend mobile frameworks, SDKs, tools, and emerging technologies for international use.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and new features to proactively recommend improvements and innovations.
Internationalization & Localization:
- Architect solutions that support international rollouts, considering regional requirements, diverse languages, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure that the architecture and development processes can adapt to different cultural contexts and local market needs.
Collaboration & Integration:
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and cybersecurity teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Oversee the integration of backend services, third-party APIs, and other enterprise systems for international deployment.
Development Processes:
- Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging systems, and release automation to support global releases.
- Support the modernization of legacy applications and guide development efforts for high-quality software delivery.
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in mobile development (iOS/Android), architecture patterns, APIs, RESTful services, and mobile security principles.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and analytical skills to understand complex requirements and effectively communicate with global teams.
Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and anticipate technical and organizational impacts of architectural decisions.
