About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments...

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier/vendor management, ideally within an Information Technology Services (ITS) or Finance organization
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and executing complex agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-functional teams, particularly Legal and Finance, to drive sourcing initiatives and ensure compliance
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial planning related to software sourcing and vendor spend
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise software landscape, including key industry players such as Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft, and Oracle

It would be great if you also had...

  • Experience supporting contract implementation and being part of the end-to-end sourcing journey, from negotiation through to execution and rollout
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to assess and manage supplier performance, risk, and value delivery across the software portfolio

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Develop strategic sourcing initiatives through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process re-engineering
  • Drive business outcomes by increasing both savings and value, identifying cost drivers/trends to create procurement strategies across the category
  • Manage competitive bid processes including RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's
  • Own the full strategic sourcing cycle, including supplier identification and selection, price negotiation, and contract red lining
  • Lead and drive the identification, planning and management of a pipeline of strategic sourcing projects
  • Market research and benchmarking of suppliers and related service categories
  • Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities
  • Act as liaison between the stakeholder and the supplier to determine the optimal approach to meeting validated business requirements
  • Provide input to stakeholders on budget development based on market and supplier pricing

We are a global procurement and software team serving a fast-paced company and our team has a critical role in acquiring software efficiently, cost effectively and in line with strategic goals. We are responsible for negotiating contracts, leveraging supplier relationships, and building positive relationships with our business community across all segments and finance, legal and compliance teams.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time, hybrid position, working out of our EST or CST office locations

Ability to be flexible with working hours across regions and time zones worldwide
