Job Title: Production Associate I- MACHINING

Duration: 6 months

Location: Henderson CO USA 80640

Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 hourly on W2

JOB SUMMARY

Description:

Production Associate Level I- Machining

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

Machining:
In this area technicians rotate within the workstations in this area.
Operations include power wash cleaning of cranks and cylinder blocks.
Detailed inspection of crankshafts. Use of basic polishing machine.
Manual cleaning of cylinder block surfaces, and threaded holes, using power tools and abrasives.
Detailed inspection of the cylinder block.
Use of cranes and basic measurement equipment (bore gauges, micrometers).
Follow documented instructions.
Record process results as needed.
More skilled operator in this area will operate a milling machine.
Support problem solving investigations.
All of above while following all HSE requirements.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Performs quality inspections.
  • Identifies and controls non-conforming material.

    Achieves production goals.

  • Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
  • Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

  • Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
