Kodak is looking for a chemical engineering intern student to contribute to the development of our continuous inkjet technology digital print materials. Our continuous inkjet technology provides the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems. Engineering intern projects involve understanding and analyzing these problems and proposing material design/process solution alternatives. At our Rochester NY R&D labs you will work with other engineers and chemists to develop coatings/primers, ink materials and processes for current and future generations of inkjet writing and printing press systems for the packagingmarket (www.kodak.com/en/company/press-release/boost-productivity-with-ektacolor-inks-and-optimax-primers/).You will work with a mentor engineer on lab/bench level testing and hands on coating and laminating processes The intern will gain experience both in design and analysis methods as well as analytical and physical property testing methods.
