 POSITIONSUMMARY:
 The Construction Technical Writer role supportsour project teams in developing compelling and persuasive proposal content,
 including technical writing such as project approaches and logistics plans to
 support strategic pursuit strategies and messaging. The ideal technical writer has
 a natural curiosity and skillset to interview project teams, probe with
 relevant questions to identify and communicate project challenges and
 solutions. This role requires exceptional writing and communication skills to
 translate complex construction technical language into clear, understandable
 content for a non-technical audience.
 
 MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
    Collaborateclosely with the Marketing Team to incorporate written content into RFQ,
 RFP, and award submission deliverables.
Conduct interviewswith project team members to identify project challenges and solutions and
 develop written content to communicate the project story for use in
 marketing materials.
Write and editproject approaches and logistics plans, incorporating winning strategies,
 and demonstrate how these approaches help clients achieve their project
 goals.
Translatetechnical construction language into clear, concise, and engaging content
 that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure all writtencontent aligns with the company's brand voice and proposal guidelines.
Work closely withleadership, marketing, and pursuit teams to ensure the accuracy and
 relevance of proposal content.
Edit and formatcontent written by others, ensuring consistency in writing style and
 approach throughout various documents.
Maintainboilerplate documents used for marketing, business development, and
 recruiting efforts.
Conduct themselvesin accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes
 matching the Way We Work.

 JOBSKILLS & ABILITIES GUIDELINES:
 
    Understanding of basic business development principles. Basicunderstanding of the go/no-go process.
Knowledge of architecture, engineering, or constructionindustry terminology.
Strong interviewing and research skills to gatherdetailed project information.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skillswith a keen eye for detail.
Ability to translate complex technical information intoclear, layman-friendly language.
Experience incorporating winning strategies intoproposal narratives.
Strong organizational and time management skills tohandle multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and otherrelevant software.
Familiarity with AP and in-house style guides andability to enforce style consistency.
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and clarityin editing technical and marketing content.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-drivenenvironment with multiple concurrent projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with theability to diplomatically provide editorial feedback to subject matter
 experts.
Excellent time management skills; a sense ofurgency.
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
    Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of five years of writing experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS: 
    Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.Ability to repeat the same movements.Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
