Job Description:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer with a minimum of a BS degree in a mechanical/automation engineering focus, and with a minimum of 2 years experience with automation and/or robotics.
This position will be responsible to design, document, test, install, support and improve automated machines or processes, or portions of those machines or processes.
The candidate must be a great communicator and problem solver and be able to work in a team atmosphere to accomplish the goal.
The desired candidate will be proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.
This position will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot automated machines, identify and implement areas for continuous improvement.
This position will require the use of hand tools and will involve building and testing the designs.
This position is considered to be a physically demanding job and requires the ability to climb ladders, work in and around machinery during installation, and pick up and move objects 60 lbs and less.
The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
