Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eagerProduction Supervisor.This role supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products.Come beapart of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive ourevery endeavor!

Location:In office, Faribault, MN

Shift:2nd, Monday - Thursday, 4:48 pm - 3:18 am

What you will do:

• Monitors production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shippingschedules

• Assists in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's qualityrequirements

• Assures safety and product quality while improving productionprocedures

• Coordinateswork flowwith the various departments involved

• Reports damaged and defective equipment tomanagement

• Trains other employees inday to dayprocedures

• Maintains quality/quantity standards regardingoutput

• Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and externalneeds

• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assignsduties

• Plans flow of materials through department according to workorders

• Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines aremet

• Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance tospecifications

• Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meetstandards

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet productionschedules

• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality ofproduct

• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or workcrew

• Analyzes and resolves workproblems, orassists workers in solving work problems.

• Maintains time and productionrecords

• Assists with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycletimes

• Other duties asassigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of related experience

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for thisposition

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field

• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 - $105,600 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
