Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Performs advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on plant and production equipment issues using schematics and technical drawings. * Performs preventative and required maintenance on production and plant equipment. Repairs equipment, systems, conveyors and/or other systems at the facility. * Documents maintenance and preventive services performed, and actions taken to fix issues. * Works with pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic and/or air compressor systems (varies by business unit). * Provides production and physical plant maintenance support. * Identifies and implements ideas for process improvements, safety, quality and waste management. * Inspects alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed. * May act as a resource to less experience technicians to assist with troubleshooting issues and understanding policies/procedures. * Promotes company safety policies, workmanship standards and operational procedures among team members while displaying strong quality consciousness at all times. * May performs other various duties such as assembly, operating equipment, machining and welding. * Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: Typically requires an associate/technical degree in a maintenance technology, a related certification, or equivalent.
