The Homeless Assistance Team has been making measurable impacts on homelessness by supporting local communities to:Implement evidence-based solutionsMake smart, data-driven investmentsProvide critical assistance to people impacted by public health emergencies and natural disastersThe Cloudburst Group offers a robust benefits program to full-time, part-time, and intermittent employees based on their eligibility. The plan includes 120 hours of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, health insurance, life insurance, retirement savings with employer match, flexible spending accounts, and supplemental benefits.The expected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000 yearly, payable on a semi-monthly basis.The federal government wants to ensure its investment in efforts to prevent and end homelessness is utilized in tangible and easily recognizable ways. Communities want assurances that federally compliant programs are receiving funding. Our advisors know how to help grantees better understand legal requirements, develop compliant strategies, and document processes to demonstrate compliance to regulators and key partners. There is an opportunity to optimize resources, help communities make data-driven decisions, and continue to make important strides toward ending homelessness. Cloudburst is seeking to grow our team with people who are passionate about ending homelessness. We want you on our team if you: Are driven by finding solutions to homelessness using a data-driven approach to optimize housing outcomes.Enjoy collaborating and problem-solving challenging issues with internal and external teams and key partners.Manage projects effectively and efficiently.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide guidance/consultation, training, and written products focused on solutions to homelessness and HUD homeless programs (namely the Emergency Solutions Grant and Continuum of Care Programs).Build strong relationships with key funders and community leaders to encourage broad systemic support for initiatives aimed at decreasing homelessness.Support communities with re-housing, recovery, resource identification efforts, implementing best practices, and improving system performance.Stay current on HUD policy priorities and advise communities on compliance with HUD regulations.Manage large-scale projects, contracts, and budgets, and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.Assist communities with assessing and interpreting data to inform planning and strategic decision-making.Providing coordination and administrative support (including project management, meeting preparation and documentation, and budget tracking) for various internal and external initiatives.Expect to travel domestically approximately 25 percent of the time.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years' experience, or significant experience in the field of homelessness or housing.Solid background working with HUD's homeless programs and regulations. Direct experience working for a CoC or ESG jurisdiction or funded program.Experienced as a leader and facilitator of large groups, both virtually and in-person.
