Sr. Client Success Analyst - North American Integrated Analytics Team

In keeping with our global position as an industry leader and innovator, Munich Re is driving transformative change in the life insurance industry through data science. As a Sr. Client Success Analyst, you will serve as liaison between our clients and our Risk Specialists, Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver solutions to core challenges in the life insurance industry backed by machine learning and best-in-class risk assessment techniques. You will be immersed in real-time business problems while engaged in a collaborative approach to delivering world-class, innovative solutions for our North American operations and clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead technical implementation with clients:
    • Customize solution design agendas and facilitate meetings (virtual and on-site).
    • Produce client-facing and internal process diagrams, data flows, and other documentation.
    • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to understand complex business processes and gather, clarify and validate requirements.
    • Document client requirements (configuration, new features).
    • Facilitate sign-off of client requirements and scope.
    • Manage changes to the baseline requirements.
    • Anticipate, quantify and resolve issues with requirements.
    • Prioritize requirements with engineering.
    • Develop test plans to ensure the client's requirements are met.
    • Triage and coordinate the resolution of defects and bugs raised during the development phase.
    • Develop and improve process documentation to improve our team's efficiency over time.
  • Drive satisfaction with our solutions:
    • Provide insights to clients to ensure that they get the most out of the platform.
    • Investigate and resolve problems raised by clients.
    • Work closely with clients to document their experience with our solutions and share status with sales and leadership.
    • Maintain communication with compliance managers and document associated needs.
    • Advocate for improvements based on cost / benefit.
    • Document and continuously evolve client success playbooks based on your experience.
  • Support the product lifecycle:
    • Clarify and communicate business needs, contribute to the definition and design of new solutions and ensure the alignment of those solutions to business needs.
    • Collaborate with our risk specialists and data scientists to plan, develop, and implement new features and platform improvements.
    • Support testing and implementation of new features with clients to ensure accuracy and to avoid disruption.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to shape pitches for new clients:
    • Assist with RFP responses.
    • Develop agendas for pitch meetings.
    • Participate in pitch meetings (virtual and on-site).

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate a natural desire to provide exceptional client service through his/her energy, enthusiasm, and initiative.

In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Ideally, 10 (min 7) years of experience in client facing technical roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in Individual Life or Disability Insurance (Direct Carrier or Reinsurance).
  • Ability to express complex ideas clearly and facilitate communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to solve business problems.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentations to clients and internal management.
  • Experience producing technology project artifacts including but not limited to: business requirement documents, use cases, functional specifications, data mapping and process diagrams.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
  • Experience developing basic SQL queries.
  • Experience using API platforms (i.e., Postman) to demo our technology and troubleshoot.
  • Experience interpreting data in XML and JSON formats.
  • Adept in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI.
  • Advanced skills in process diagraming (i.e., Miro).
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and software engineering best practices.
  • Agility to work across multiple internal teams and multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • A drive to make a difference.
  • Must be able to travel 10-25%.

For New York City based employees, the base salary range anticipated for this position is $153,583 to $177,833, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.
