The mission of System IT is simple: to be the best at delivering customer-aligned IT solutions and services. Our services are provided to all member institutions using an IT shared services governance model. Position Overview A UNT System IT Support Technician provides technical support for UNT System employees located across All UNT campuses and occasionally to the rest of the UNT Community. Support is provided by phone, email, remote desktop tools and in person. Job duties will include providing front line support to customers, walking them through basic IT processes, computer imaging and deployment, software and hardware administration and ongoing maintenance for desktops and laptops, and supporting UNT System Staff with computer related questions/problems, network connectivity, printing problems, and computer security. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or GED equivalent. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record Preferred Qualifications Required License/Registration/Certifications Job Duties
