Job Title: Service Technician

Job Location: Dayton, OH

As a Service Technician you will repair and maintain Trimble products, provide technical support for Trimble distribution partners and customers, and conduct technical training meetings.

What you will do:

  • Complete repairs of Trimble products within established repair times
  • Read, understand, and follow repair instructions, service guidelines, and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
  • Attend service training in both formal class room and "On the Job" bench training environments.
  • Clean product to meet cosmetic standards required for customer satisfaction.
  • Attendance (Reliable)
  • Accountable for documenting part numbers and quantity consumed for repairs.
  • Obtain and maintain a less than 1% product repair return rate.
  • Achieve established productivity matrices.
  • Facilitate instructor-led Technical Training Courses

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2 yr. Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • High School Graduate
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing electromechanical devices
  • Familiar with basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capable of understanding and following written guidelines and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
  • Capable of working with limited supervision.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience conducting instructor-led technical training seminars

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
