Additional Information Regarding the Opportunity This position will be a working Team Lead for the Pipe department. Along with leadership abilities outlined in the job description, the candidate should have a general understanding of Pipe Bending processes and equipment. Ideally, the candidate would have experience with programming, setup and operation of CNC tube benders. The role will be approximately a 60/40 split; 60% of time dedicated to Team Lead duties, and 40% of time dedicated to operating the CNC bender. Summary Under the supervision of the Manager in Charge, the Team Leader coordinates the activities of a group of employees, ensuring compliance with all safety, production, and quality standards. In addition, the Team Leader is responsible for operating equipment to produce a large variety of product in accordance with customer requirements and specifications. This includes both standard and custom-made products and parts. Education and Experience Level of education usually acquired through completion of high school and three to five years experience of operating bending equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The Team Leader must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 70 pounds on an occasional basis. |
