Communications Manager, Global Internal Communications

Sapient Corporation
United States, Massachusetts, Boston
Oct 09, 2025
Job Description

We're looking for a Communications Manager to join our Global Internal Communications team. This is a hands-on role with global scope - focused on creating great content, enabling stakeholders, and building communities for our 20,000+ person around the world.

You'll bring energy, creativity, and a deep understanding of internal communications to help us strengthen engagement, improve the quality of communications across the business, and amplify key messages worldwide.

This is not just about creating content - it's about creating connections.

The Three Core Aspects of the Role

  • Content Creator - Craft clear, engaging content across channels and campaigns, simplifying complex topics for a global audience.
  • Stakeholder Enabler - Build trusted relationships and equip leaders and teams to deliver stronger, self-served communications.
  • Community Builder - Grow networks of champions and ambassadors to amplify messages and create genuine two-way dialogue.

What You'll Do

  • Create compelling content across all internal comms channels and campaigns.
  • Enable and upskill stakeholders by building strong relationships with leaders and communities, helping them self-serve and communicate effectively.
  • Develop a cascade network of champions and influencers to amplify key campaigns and messages across the company.
  • Listen, learn, and adapt by using feedback and insights from stakeholders to continuously improve our approach.
  • Contribute to internal channels and programs including People Manager resources, Comms Champions, and the Influencers program.
  • Support major initiatives such as global town halls and high-priority campaigns - shaping agendas, refining content, and collaborating with leaders.
  • Take on ad hoc projects as part of a small, fast-moving team.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced internal communicator with 5+ years in internal communications (tech or consulting a plus).
  • Exceptional writer and sharp editor who can translate executive vision into messaging and stories that land. Write with clarity, purpose and keen sense of audience and tone.
  • Proven ability to work closely with senior leaders, exercising strong judgment, discretion, and a solutions-first mindset.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and community building.
  • Strong grasp of IC theory and best practice, with a track record of running campaigns that deliver impact.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects, adapt to change, and collaborate across functions and time zones.
  • A team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and believes great internal comms builds culture, clarity, and connection.
  • You've already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you're excited to dive in and learn fast. You're hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
  • Bonus: Degree or professional qualification in communications, PR, or related field.

What Success Looks Like

  • Higher engagement and visibility of internal communications.
  • Stronger cascade networks with empowered stakeholders acting as comms ambassadors.
  • Reduced comms bottlenecks, with more teams equipped to self-serve effectively.
  • Positive feedback from employees, leaders, and peers on clarity, reach, and impact of communications.
